What to do if you hate cardio
2 secret weapons for burning calories
What’s up Drip Fam,
Do you hate running on the treadmill? Does the sight of the stairmaster make you want to cry?
If you answered yes to either of these questions, the good news is that you can still lose weight without doing hours of boring cardio machines. Instead, you just need active ways to burn fat and calories. And there are two secret weapons in that battle:
Walking
Lifting weights
Most people think that the best way to lose weight is by doing hours of boring, routine cardio. But the truth is that there are multiple ways to burn calories and fat on your road to achieving your ideal physique.
Walking is light on your joints. It is also a fantastic way to burn calories and boost your metabolism. Plus, you can do it anywhere, anytime. This makes it an easy way to stay committed to your fitness goals without bogging yourself down with the thoughts of “Oh my god, I hate cardio. I can’t do it.”
In addition to walking, resistance training like lifting weights is a great way to burn fat and calories.
Lifting weights is the gift that keeps on giving. You will not only burn calories while working out, but thanks to the afterburn effect, you will continue burning calories for several hours after leaving the gym.
The key to achieving your fitness goals is a consistent routine that you actually enjoy. There is no perfect plan; there is only what’s right for you.
So if you hate doing hours on the bike, treadmill, or stairmaster, try alternatives like walking and lifting weights. The best workout plan is the one you will stick with, and these two activities could change your life forever.
And as always, if you need any guidance along the road to finding the best workout plans that will lead to your best body, I am here to help. Just shoot me a quick email and we will work together to design the right plan for YOU.
